Articulate:

1) To join together as a joint.

2) The relating of contacting surfaces of the teeth in the maxillae to thos in the mandible.

3) To enunciate clearly or be clearly spoken.

Articulating paper:

Ink coated paper strips used to lacate and mark occlusal contacts.
